Continued from How to Use Antler (Read Me First)
Step 1: Installing WordPress Blogging Platform
Log in to your hosting's control panel. You can do this by visiting this URLhttp://example.com:2082
Remember, visit your own domain name instead of example.com
This is the screen you will see:
Log in using the User Name and Password that was given to you by your hosting company, if you've forgotten your user name or if it's not working, the hosting company can easily email it back to you!
After you log in you will see this screen:
Scroll down until you see the Software/Services box, and click on 'Softaculous'.
Now find 'WordPress' under Blogs and Click on it.
Now Click on Install.
You will be taken to the WordPress installation configuration screen.
Clear the input box that says In Directory. You now only need to customize 5 of input the boxes bellow it using meaningful information.
Important: You will need the Admin Username and Admin Password you set here again in Step 3.
So write it down somewhere as these will be your Antler login details.
Site Name: The title you want to have as your website header.
Site Description: Some words to describe your work.
Admin Username: Sets your WordPress admin User Name.
Admin Password: Sets your WordPress admin Password.
Admin Email: Sets your WordPress admin Email Address (for password retrieval)
Now click on the 'Install' button at the bottom (almost done now)
The WordPress installation takes only a few moments...
and you are done with Installing WordPress now.
This concludes Step 1.
