Step 1: Add a Gallery to a Page

Log in to your WordPress Admin panel. You can do this by visiting this URL

 http://example.com/wp-admin
Remember, visit your own domain name instead of example.com
This is the screen you will see:

WordPress Login

You may want to bookmark this page since it will always remain the admin page for your Antler run website.

Now enter the WordPress Admin Username and Admin Password and click on Log In

At the WordPress Admin Page click on click on Pages  Add New

New Page

You will now be at the New Page dialog. Enter a Title for your page, try to keep the title short and sweet because it reflects in the Page URL as well. You want your website to look elegant.

Then click on Visual.

New Page Title

The Visual Editor Mode will always allow you to use the Antler Page Shortcuts. Antler supports 5 types of pages, they have their own distinct black icons and have been highlighted in the bellow image.

For this tutorial we will make an Inline Gallery from a Flickr Set.
To do this we need to choose a Flickr Set. After looking through my Flickr Sets I found a nice Flickr Set at this URL.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/sorrenta/sets/72157622103392020/

The number that comes after the word 'sets' is the Flickr Set ID. You will need the Set ID to stream the Flickr Photos to your Antler Page. Copy the Set number.

Now going back to your Antler Page, click on the black Inline Gallery Icon.

It will ask for a Gallery ID or a Flickr Set ID. We will give it a Flickr Set ID and then click on OK.

Copy Flickr Set ID

Now click on Publish.
When ever you Edit a Page, Remember to Click Publish to Save Your Changes.

Important: There should never be anything outside the brackets. In the bellow example our Brackets are [inline] and [/inline]

Notice how we have no Text outside the brackets, having text outside the brackets will make your page look sloppy.

Publish Page

WordPress will now confirm that your page has been saved.

This concludes Step 1.

Your page has now been created, yet new pages don't go live until you add them to the menu.
This way you can share your work when you're ready!

Now lets get this party started in Step 2
