A Default home page is a Page that has been set to load on your website before the user clicks on any of your menu links.
There are two ways to elevate an Antler Page to an Antler Home Page.
You only have to use one.
First Method: Title The Page 'homepage'
Login in to your WordPress Admin. On the Left Hand Menu go to Pages ▷ Add New
Title your page 'homepage'
Notice: homepage is in all lowercase characters.

Now Add contents to this Page as you would creating any other Antler page, then click on Publish.
This Page will load as a Home Page!
The second method is slightly less straight forward yet it doesn't require you to title your page anything specific.
Second Method: Using Custom Fields
Login in to your WordPress Admin. On the Left Hand Menu go to Pages ▷ Add New
Click on Screen Options at the Top Right corner.

Make sure Custom Fields is Ticked.

A Panel named Custom Fields will show up.
Enter the word 'homepage' under Name and 'yes' under Value.
Notice: Both 'homepage' and 'yes' are in all lower case.
Click on Add Custom Field

The Custom Field Entry box will flash Yellow to confirm the new Custom Field addition.

Now go back to the top right of the page and click on Publish to save your changes.

This Page will load as a Home Page!
